What's On this Weekend - Thursday 27th June

Lounge Bar

We have our monthly quiz night on Friday in the lounge bar. The quiz will start at 8pm with Bingo at half time and prizes for the winners!

£3 per person - max 6 per team. Family and friends all welcome! To book your place, please email or sign up at reception.

We also have a squash fundarising event on Saturday for one of Newlands LTC's rising squash stars, Ella Bannister, 2024 Girls U17 Scottish National Champion. Ella, alongside Robyn McAlpine from Western and Louisa Kaven from Whitecraigs RC has been selected as part of a 4-player squad to go to Houston, Texas, to participate in the World Junior Team Championships this July.

We are hosting a one-day graded squash event on Saturday 29th of June. Entry will be £10 (cash on the day), with a raffle strip included in the price. All abilities welcome – please sign up through the link below by Friday 28th June! Play will start at around 10-11am.

Raffle tickets will be available to purchase at the bar, at £1.50 a ticket or £5 per strip. Prizes will be drawn on Saturday evening. We hope to see lots of you there!

Padel Tennis

We have been delighted to see lots of our members enjoying the free padel taster sessions we have been running. Next Monday is the last day of these, there are still some spaces for the 19:00 and 19:30 sessions so book your spot quickly so you don't miss out!

Tennis

The Saturday club sessions are now OFF for the summer and will resume in August when the schools go back.

The Steel Tennis Summer Camps start next week and there are still a few spaces available to book from the Steel Tennis app.

Squash

The free Junior squash coaching sessions are now OFF for the summer and will resume in August when the schools go back.

The squash summer camps are also starting next week and will run for 5 weeks. Please email reception if you would like to book a spot.

Cafe Dropshot

Cafe Dropshot is open as usual this weekend Friday- Monday 9am-3pm, with last hot food orders at 2:30.

Fitness

Victoria's yoga is now OFF for the school summer holidays.

Jacquie's Mixed Circuits 06:15-07:00 and Saturday morning Circuit class 09:00-10:00 are both ON as normal this weekend.

No need to book. All you need is water and a mat.
