Friendly Reminder: Brushing the Clay Courts After Play

Dear Members,

As we move through the season and our outdoor clay courts see more use, we’d like to offer a quick reminder on caring for the courts after you play.

After finishing your session, please take a moment to brush the court using the dragmat provided at the end of each court. This helps keep the clay surface even, prevents wear in high-traffic areas, and ensures the courts remain in good condition for everyone.

A few important points to note:

  • Brush the entire court evenly, including behind the baselines
  • Do not use the dragmats when the courts are wet
  • Please take extra care when brushing near the centre nets, as dragmats can become tangled and may damage or rip the nets
  • Use the dragmat provided at the end of the court
  • When finished, hang the dragmat back up on the hook at the rear of the courts.
  • Before re-entering the Clubhouse, please remove the clay from your shoes using the brushmats provided

These small actions make a big difference and help us all enjoy consistently good playing conditions.

Thank you for your cooperation and for helping look after our courts.
