World Tennis Tour $25,000 Women’s Event

Professional tennis returns to Glasgow from 12th-18th February when Tennis Scotland stages a World Tennis Tour event – Women’s $25K singles and doubles events – at the Scotstoun Leisure Centre.

Qualifying rounds for the singles will be played on the Sunday and Monday with play starting at 10 am and continuing into the evening. The main draw events start on Tuesday [ 10 am start ] and continue through to the finals which will be played on Saturday 18th February [provisional start time 10:30am].

Scotland will once again have local interest with players Anna Brogan (Newlands) and Maia Lumsden both in action, as well as Stirling National Academy player and top 10 junior in the world Ella McDonald. Other female stars include Heather Watson, who reached the 4th round of Wimbledon in 2022, the line-up also included the singles champion from our February event last year, Sonay Kartal.

As always, the standard of tennis will be very high and this is an opportunity to watch current stars and stars of the future. Entry to the spectators’ stand is free all week with a centre café offering snacks for all.
