A service of thanksgiving for Brian will be held at Sherbrooke Mosspark Church, 240 Nithsdale Road on Friday 11th March at 1:30pm. Happy colours may be worn.
AGM
Just a reminder that our annual AGM will be held in the clubhouse on Thursday 3rd March at 7:30pm.
Only one question was submitted as requested before the meeting:
‘Any plans to have courts 1&2 as artificial clay?’
Resurfacing the outdoor courts is something that the club have planned in the next few years. At the moment it has not been decided what surface this would be as we would need to investigate all the options and consult the membership. When they are resurfaced all 7 courts will be redone in the same surface. Artificial Clay is a popular option at the moment and this is certainly a surface that we would consider.
Table Tennis Table
We have been donated another table tennis table which at the moment is in the old west office but obviously we are still looking to rent this space out to provide income for the club. However until that happens this room is another facility for all members to enjoy. New bats and balls are available to borrow at Reception .
