Newlands LTC and The Glasgow Academy have worked closely together over the past 4 years in delivering best in class facilities for the pupils to use at Newlands LTC. Initially, as part of this arrangement, TGA made a contribution to allow pupils of TGA to become mini-members of Newlands LTC at no additional cost.
Over the last 4 years, the mini-membership programme at Newlands LTC has grown considerably and there has been an increase in the cost of this membership. In addition, TGA have seen pupil numbers grow at the Newlands campuses, which has meant that it is no longer financially viable for TGA to continue to provide this additional membership offering
There will be no change to the facilities being offered for the pupils during class time, however those pupils who use the facilities will now be required to join Newlands LTC as a Mini member at a cost of £60 for the period from 1 October 2023 to 31st March 2024. (The annual cost from 1st April 23 to 31st March 24 is £120).
