Padel Court opening hours

Dear members,

We hope you have all enjoyed the use of the new Padel courts since they were opened for use in June 2024. The courts have been very well utilised since their opening and we have been delighted to see so many existing members take up the sport, as well as seeing new members join our Club.

We are currently in discussions with Glasgow City Council to ensure that the noise from the Padel courts does not cause a nuisance to our neighbours. We are exploring a variety of options to look at minimising the sound coming from the courts - in conjunction with our Padel consultant and acoustic consultant. Once we have reviewed all these options, we will update you with our plans for ensuring we minimise disruption to allow our members and guests to enjoy the use of the Padel courts going forward.

While we review these options, we have agreed to slightly reduce the Padel opening hours to:

Monday to Friday - 08:00 to 21:00

Saturday & Sunday - 09:00 to 20:00

If we could remind members to be mindful of our neighbours and keep the noise to a minimum where possible when playing Padel.

Kind regards,

NLTC Committee
