Junior Squash Coaching starts back Saturday 1st May

We are pleased toconfirm that the Saturday Junior Squash Coaching will recommence this Saturday 1st May with the usual time slots of 1-2pm and 2-3pm. This is in accordance with Scottish Squash guidance Tier 3 which restrictions permit for children under 18 years old to play ‘unconditioned/regular squash’.

As before there are a number of measures we require to implement to ensure we meet the appropriate regulatory requirements and provide your children with a safe coaching environment. To do this successfully we need to know in advance the levels of participation for each session - please provide email or telephone confirmation to the Club if you wish your child to attend and specify which session, 1pm or 2pm.

This should correspond with the session your child was previously attending - if your child was attending both they should now only attend the 2pm session and reply accordingly. If you are new to the coaching or are unclear to which session is most suitable, please contact one of our coaches via the contact details at the bottom of this email.

In addition, please note the following Covid-19 protection measures:

Please do not arrive more than 5 minutes before session start time.
Masks must be worn when moving through clubhouse but are not required on court.
One parent per child will be allowed to watch from the balcony upstairs, please adhere to social distancing. Please note parents should not enter the squash hall at ground level.
If your child has their own racket, please bring it. We have spare rackets for those who don’t.
The water fountains are not in operation so children should come with a filled water bottle (sealed please).
Hand sanitising stations are available at reception and inside the squash hall.
