Tennis Team training restarts this week

Team training for senior teams kicks off this week as we look ahead to another Spring/Summer season at Newlands – starting mid-March for some events.

If you are keen to be involved in Team Tennis please try and attend as many practices as you can. This not only lets the coaches know you are keen but helps us gauge your playing standard against others for team selection.

Not everyone is guaranteed a place in a team but we do our best to accommodate as many players as possible by entering teams into different leagues, events and age groups and also operating team pools where possible.

There are different leagues and events running 12 months of the year and lots of opportunities to represent the club.

If you are a junior player hoping to be considered for an adult team please contact your coach who will advise what practice session to attend.

All practice sessions are bookable on the STEEL tennis App. If you are a new member or unsure which session to attend, please speak to a member of the coaching team.

Not receiving Email Newsletters?

  • Login and check you email address is correct.
  • Contact Us if you changed your email address.
  • Check you spam/junk folders (and mark the message as "not spam/junk" if you find it there).
  • Add "newlandsltc@no-reply.mycourts.co.uk" to your Contacts list or email address book.
  • Contact your email service provider and ask them why you're not receiving messages sent from newlandsltc@no-reply.mycourts.co.uk.

Hotmail/Outlook Users

  • Login to your Hotmail/Outlook account.
  • Click Settings > View all Outlook settings > Junk Email
  • Add "mycourts.co.uk" and "no-reply.mycourts.co.uk" to your Safe Senders and domains.

GMail Users

  • Go to Gmail Settings > Filters and Blocked Addresses. If "Newlands Lawn Tennis Club <newlandsltc@no-reply.mycourts.co.uk>" appears in the list of blocked addresses, select "Newlands Lawn Tennis Club <newlandsltc@no-reply.mycourts.co.uk>" and click "unblock selected addresses".

Other email service providers may have similar settings -- please follow their instructions. If not, contact their support desk and request delivery of messages from newlandsltc@no-reply.mycourts.co.uk.
