Hi Folks,
Newlands Vincent van Gogh Day (aka Fence Painting Day)
We intend to paint the long wooden fence that backs on to the rear of the beer garden and courts 1 and 2 on Sunday June 11th from 9am to 1pm . While I have a handful of pressed men who found it difficult to say no when I begged for help, I was also hoping we might get a few volunteers as well. Paint and brushes will be supplied so all you need is a set of old clothes, gloves, and the ability to splash paint onto wood in a semi co-ordinated manner. Once again I will be on hand to jump over the fence and wash any of our neighbours cars that get in the way of our potential artists!
If you can spare a few hours on the planned date and want a laugh and maybe a free coffee then please give your name into reception.
