Squash club champs 2022

Hi all,

Believe it or not it’s already time to run our squash club champs again!

This year will be a little different in that we will separate squash and racketball. The squash finals will be in May (exact date TBC soon), with Racketball events later in the year. This gives us the opportunity to do more with Racketball categories than has been possible by running at the same time.

Entry sheets are now posted on the squash hall for all of the usual events:

Main draw
Ladies draw
O40s, 50s, 60s, and 70s.
Junior events

The tinhitters will be comprised of first round losers. This year we will also trial run a Plate competition for second round losers (given sufficient entries).

Last year's finals day was an amazing success so let’s get everyone competing again in the run up to the big day. Even if you’re not in danger of winning, playing the events is good fun and gives you the chance to play squash with some new opponents.

Get signing up ASAP please! Closing date for entries is 8th April.

If you have any questions please contact Matt or myself.

All the best,

Kieran ONeill
