Newlands LTC's Junior Club Championships and O50s singles have officially begun!

Rules
Every draw is a knockout event played over best-of-three sets format, first to six games per set, with a match-tiebreak in the third played to 10 points (win by 2 points clear). The 10U events are the only exception to this with each set taking place in fast-four format (first to 4 games, play a tiebreak to 7 at 3 games all, sudden death deuce points).
Each match has a set completion date which can be found on the tournament software. Please contact your opponent / your child's opponent's parent to try to organise something before this date. Contact details can be found at the member's directory on our website (https://newlandsltc.mycourts.co.uk/directory.asp).
If you can't organise a match date mutually before the set completion date, please contact me (tournament referee Jack Edward, 07891483194) with your proposed later match date.
Please also send me all your results.
All finals are set for Saturday 25th October with no exceptions.
8U and 9U
Our 8U and 9U events will take place as a one-day event on the day of the finals in a round-robin format.
No 14U Girl's Doubles
We unfortunately didn't have multiple entries to create a girl's 14U doubles event. If you know any players that would be available to play this, please message me at 07891483194 to let me know.
O50s Events
Our O50s men's singles takes place in exactly the same format as the open singles.
The doubles will take place as a one-day event. This date is still to be decided -- participants will be contacted with more info shortly.
